On 29th April 2022, Hong Kong Regulator – Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) – announced that the 6GHz frequency band for Wireless Local Area Networks is now permitted in Hong Kong, issuing standard HKCA 1081.

The permitted frequency band is 5925 – 6425 MHz. Test reports based on the ETSI EN 303 687 standard will be accepted for Type Approval application purposes.

For this frequency band, the maximum output power of the device submitted for Approval shall not exceed the limits indicated below:
