The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) of Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of the Emerging Technologies Regulatory Sandbox. The Emerging Technologies Regulatory Sandbox has the goal of supporting innovation and emerging technologies by attracting new investors and establishing regulations for the emerging technologies market, including technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Block chain, Cloud Computing, Digital Twin, 3D/4D Printing, and Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality/Extended Reality (AR/VR/XR). Applications will be accepted until July 7, 2022.
